Pantanal Ecoexplorer is a small nature-based tour company, locally owned and operated, and  we are a registered and established tour operator based in Cuiaba, Mato Grosso, Brazil and we offer a variety of wildlife viewing tours throughout the North Pantanal, for any group size. Most of our expeditions take you to remote destinations, away from the usual routes, and  you truly get away from the crowds rather than traveling with them. The majority of your time is spent in the wilderness enjoying the wildlife and what it has to offer.

 Pantanal Ecoexplorer is the family run business of Carlos and Debora Grandez, we are a small company and as a married couple, explorer/naturalist team and owners- operators of Pantanal Ecoexplorer we have travelled, lived and led expeditions in some of the most remarkable corners of  South America, we pride ourselves on our top-notch service, attention to detail and ability to be flexible and meet the needs of our guests

Small group adventures
We specialize in small group expeditions ranging from two to eight people. This allows personalized service, increased trip flexibility, and minimal environmental impact. A small group also allows guests to spend more time with their guides, which enriches the overall experience. Our trips are designed to get you 'up close' to the wildlife, while minimizing impact on the lives of the animals and the local ecosystem.In particular we limit our jaguar tracking tours to a maximum of 4 people per group. Maximum group size on our Wildlife adventures is 08 – guaranteed.

We believe that having our own selection of vehicles and equipment allows us to provide a high quality specialized service that is reliable and yet flexible enabling us to explore deeper into areas that others don’t go. We have several all terrain air conditioned vehicles, our own comfortable houseboat and several smaller expedition boats for our river cruises as well as providing the specialized equipment for wildlife spotting and identification.
