IGUAZU FALLS
This extension offers opportunities to explore the amazing surroundings of the Iguazu Falls. The Iguassú Falls are the most spectacular in the world, with a height of 75 metres and a spread of 3 km along the border between Brazil with Argentina. Most of the falls are found on the Argentinian side (where there are various walkways to enjoy), however the best panoramic views are from the Brazilian side. Iguassú National Park is renowned for it's great biodiversity, and it also a great area for birdwatching, or visits to the rainforest. The falls can be visited at any time of the year, however the waterfalls are at their most impressive between the months of December to March, which is the rainy season. During the dry season, the site is less spectacular - at the height of the dry season (August and September) there has been very little water present at times in the past.
