Payment
A deposit of 50% of your total trip cost
is required to secure your tour, payable by bank transfer
either in US dollars or Euros. Full payment is required
prior to tour departure at our office in Cuiabá.
We accept Visa, Mastercard and Diners Club credit cards.
Cancellation Policy
-15% of deposit from time of booking till
90 days prior to departure
- 50% of deposit 89 till 69 days prior to departure
-100% of deposit 60 till 0 days prior to departure
What Is Included In Your Tour
Pre-departure information and advise, airport
transfers, the services of an English speaking local guide,
all transport, accommodation, meals and equipment whilst
on tour as specified by your itinerary.
Please note airport taxes, travel insurance, laundry services,
phone calls and beverages are NOT included.
Single Travellers
Please note our prices are based upon double
occupancy for our lodge safaris although single occupancy
can usually be arranged on request with a supplement, just
let us know. For our camping trips there is no supplement
for solo travelers.
Pre/Post Departure Accommodation
We can arrange additional accommodation
before or after our tour for you, just let us know. Please
note the cost of this accommodation is not included in your
tour cost.
Flights Within Brazil
Please consult your travel agent about the
Brazilian Airpass only available outside of Brazil which
allows you to fly to 5 different destinations within the
country within a time limit of 21 days. If you would like
us to arrange domestic flights which can be purchased at
a considerably cheaper price within Brazil please let us
know.
Prior To Departure
Please ensure you have comprehensive travel
insurance and the required visa for entry into Brazil (please
check with your travel agent as a visa is only required
for certain countries).
Proof of yellow fever vaccination is required for entry
into Brazil. For all other vaccinations and malarial prophylaxis
please consult your own doctor.
Please advise us of any special medical or dietary requirements
prior to departure.
What To Bring
We recommend trekking or tennis shoes as
well as a pair of sandals, lightweight clothes for warm
weather with some long sleeved tops and trousers for mosquito
protection. In addition lightweight raingear, a sun hat
and swimming gear. Warmer clothing may be required at certain
times of the year please consult our Pantanal section for
more detailed information on seasonal variations. Personal
medications, insect repellant and sunscreen are a must as
well as all your camera equipment!
Please bring your own sleeping bag for our camping trips
and we will provide your tent, mosquito net and roll mats.
