Ecotourism is the alternative chosen by the proprietor family, with centenarial tradition in Pantanal, to preserve the wonderful places full of an incredibly variated wildlife, impressive sample of Nature's wealth and power.

Situated in a traditional Pantanal's cattle farm with an area of 11.000 hectares and great diversity of preserved Pantanal landscapes without introduced species, presenting characteristical flora and fauna, with large floodabler fields of native grass, several kinds of forest and permanent and temporary water bodies.

Leaving Cuiabá, Mato Grosso state's capital, one travels 100km of paved road reaching Poconé and 33km of Transpantaneira Road (not paved), inside Pantanal already, to the farm's entrance in a stretch of aproximately 3 hours, included several stops along the way to observe local attractions.

Bento Gomes river, crossing the farm from East to West, flows only part of the year, leaving during the drought a series of lakes and ponds in various sizes and formats, surrounded by forests and full of fish, snails and insects attracting birds, reptiles e mammals.

During both drought and flood, many attractions of Pantanal may be observed in rides to rarely frequented places, walking or in horseback and canoe rides.

Apartment
The lodge has today 13 apartments, brick-built, equiped with nets against mosquitos in the windows, fan and bathroom, 5 of them with air conditioned

Typical food
The meals, in the opinion of the guests, is a special highlight of the place. They're served in cosy restaurant and prepared in firewood oven&stove.
