Environmentally sensitive travel off-the-beaten path.

It is completely off the beaten path, with only a very remote chance of encountering other tourists. This is an excellent opportunity for people, especially nature lovers, who would like to go deep into the Pantanal and spend more time exploring it, away from the crowds. Enjoy spectacular bird and wildlife viewing, land & river exploration. Track jaguars, anteaters, tapirs and other animals in some of the most remote and unspoiled regions of the northern Pantanal. Other activities include horseback rides, game drives, walks in the wilderness, spotlighting trips, boat tours, and more. During this tour you will explore The Pantanal of Caceres; this region is one of the world's richest natural reserves and a migratory stopover for ibis, ducks, storks, herons, egrets and many other species. There are over 400 species of birds scientifically identified. The area has a diverse variety of ecosystems including savanna lowlands and grasslands, seasonal wetlands, some beautiful lakes, remote rivers full of wildlife, and rich forest areas. On this trip, you will have the unrivaled experience of viewing truly undisturbed wildlife at very close range. You should easily observe hundreds of species of birds, several species of monkeys, caiman, capybara, lizards, tapirs, marsh deer, river otters, giant anteaters, deer, peccaries, and, with good luck, a jaguar. In addition, you can live the day-to-day life of an authentic Pantanal cowboy, savor typical local dishes and sleep in a traditional house which offers all the basic necessities.

Environmentally Sustainable Tourism
We are proud to offer tours that get you “up close” to wildlife while at the same time minimizing our impact on the local flora and fauna. As nature lovers ourselves, we make every effort to follow a responsible code of ecotourism that does not adversely affect the ecosystems we visit. Furthermore, as a local, family-owned tour operator, we are proud that all of our tours benefit the area economy and promote local culture. We stay in local hotels and lodges, frequent local bars and restaurants, and employ local drivers, boat pilots, and nature guides – selected for their expertise about the regional environment and history as well as their language and people skills. On our tours clients have the chance to interact with locals and experience first-hand how they live. Many clients also have the opportunity to participate, if they so choose, in local cultural events – dances, shows, festivals, etc. – and support regional artisans by purchasing locally made crafts and souvenirs.
